Well, they do. But, I’ve always loved the thoughts of being a reporter.

I used to think I wanted to be a consumer watch dog reporter. You know? Go places, or use things, and report on how they worked for blind or disabled persons.

Never happened but I still like to read about journalism.

      Food For Thought

We all are the Light, automatically. So we really don’t have to go too much further than that. We all have a Light within us – it is the Soul; it is that spark of God, of the Divine, that activates our consciousness.

        Hi.

I sent a couple pitches to some people once.

I wanted to do some traveling with this tour company and blog my experience as a blind person.

I also sent some pitches to other places of similar idea. I got no response to either and now with COVID I am not sure what to do or where to go with it so I’m just focusing on other things.

Well, I don’t know if it was my lack of knowhow as far as presenting my idea, or if people just aren’t receptive.

At the time, Campbell, my guide dog and I were in our working prime. I felt that having a blind guide dog handler going on a trip with a tour company and then writing about the experience would do a lot toward helping to raise awareness and would have been a great advertising tool.

Maybe when things get back to some sort of normal I’ll try again.

Ii plan to have another working dog one day and who knows what might happen.

For now I’m working on getting a book ready to publish and growing my business.

      • Maybe you just pitched the wrong people. Or perhaps its time hadn’t come yet. Whatever it was, I hope you get to write those articles some day soon!
