AUTHORS, THEY’RE ONLY HUMAN: Two for Tuesday, Cats and Blue Jays and a Writing Update

Good morning to all.

I hope this message finds everyone doing super great.

This morning when I woke, I decided that I must have double goodness all day long.

Although the heat is zapping my energy, my spirits are high, my sense of accomplishment is over the moon, and I can’t wait to see what today might bring.

This morning, we’re getting a respite from the heat with a cool 63 degrees, but it isn’t to last as the temps are forecast to sore back into the 90’s later today.

In the meantime, I’ve my kitchen window open, enjoying the cool breeze, and morning sounds of birdsong.

The stray cats have made their way up to the food I’ve left for them and the blue jays are out in force this morning and their enthusiastic calls of Good Morning! Are an awesome thing to hear as they fly through the neighborhood.

It seems to me that they must feel my own excitement.

What am I excited about?

Well, I’ve heard back from my proofreader/line editor and she tells me she’s made her first complete pass through the manuscript of the first book in my memoir trilogy ‘Pathway to Freedom Broken and Healed: How a Seeing Eye Dog Retrieved My Life Second Edition’ and that she’ll be going through it once more to make sure she’s not missed anything this week, and that I should have it back soon.

It won’t be long until it’ll be ready for Claire Plaisted of Plaisted Publishing House and her team to work their magik on it and then we will put it out for the world to read.

Just in case you’re not familiar with my work, my books, Campbell’s Rambles: How a Seeing Eye Dog Retrieved My Life, and Bubba Tails From the Puppy Nursery At The Seeing Eye are currently 50% off at:

Campbell's Rambles Book CoverBubba Tales with Wee One Book Cover

BTW? If anyone out there reading has a book club or some type of writing group that might need a guest speaker either via online, phone chat or in person, please get in touch.

For now, I must go. The Beasty Bubba has awakened and will soon be ready to take his morning walk. So, I bid you a great day, and I remind you it’s up to you to make it that way. make it a Great One!
