Synopsis:
I guess I have always had a special affinity for pumpkins. Pumpkin season has always been more than a time to don masks, carve jack-o’-lanterns, and put out treats for tricksters. It is a season that in my mind lasts long beyond the last pumpkin pie of Thanksgiving.
Each year as my pumpkin season has come to an end, I have found myself seeking special recipes and other interesting information about these wonderful fruits. My quest to find these recipes has taken me through many an adventure, and I have made many friends along the way.
I am happy to share my joy of pumpkins with you here.
Hi folks, I just enjoyed the writing by Jo E. Pinto, It takes a Village, and I absolutely LOVE her writing and style and I want to give her five stars for her writing. It took me back to times of imagination and what it does for all of our lives, even when we are already big people. And it reminded me of a time when I was teaching illiterate students how to read as a volunteer. What I realized shortly on, was that most of my illiterate students had never had a full childhood. Jo’s writing helped me really understand that, and before I knew her I was reading children’s stories to them and helping them to have life experiences they had never had. Thank you Jo, and I think that Patty is doing a fantastic job of pulling this great “village” of us writers together and I hope all of you are supporting her. I have seen my book sales go up by just staying within our village and responding to the posts of others and posting my own as often as I can. I think this has been a most amazing journey with all of you and I truly feel honored to know each and every one of you. You are a bunch of creative and amazing people. Thank you so kindly, and especially thank Patty for pulling us all together and working endlessly to help us out. And to thank also Leonore and David, who are amazing for the work they can do to take our books and make them look like a million books. Thank you one and all, and if there are any veterans among us, I wish you all a beautiful day tomorrow and thank you kindly for your service for all of us. Anne always
