Here’s a note from author artist Lynda McKinney Lambert.
Today as I prepare for my book signing event tomorrow at the Authors & Coffee event in Wampum, PA, I am also sending out a note to my literary friends.
Gentle reminder is a phrase Peter Pereira, the extraordinary poet, has used when he sends e-mail to promote himself. Peter is a rare, certainly gentle, human being and I have much to learn from him. Here’s one lesson I’m forthwith putting into action.
A few weeks ago, I sent out a notice that my chapbook, first snow, is being published by Finishing Line Press. In case you did plan to purchase a copy but haven’t gotten around to it yet– now would be a propitious time to do it. Your purchase of my chapbook will be so appreciated at this time. The number of copies sold before November 8th determines the size of the pressrun, which explains this “gentle reminder” I am sending today.
If you have already signed up for a copy, I thank you and I know you will enjoy it. They will be shipping around January 3, 2020. I think this is a perfect time because the holidays will be over and you can relax and really enjoy reading the poems. It would also be a really nice gift.
You can send a check for $13.99 for each copy, plus 2.99 for shipping – This would be a total of $16.98 for each book + shipping.
You can also go to the website–at new releases-scroll down to L, the authors are listed alphabetically. http://www.finishinglinepress.com/
or just type in “first snow” in the search box- or my name, Lynda McKinney Lambert.
