  1. Thank you for re-blogging, Patty.

      Hi Abbie.

You’re welcome. I hope my reblogging your work is helping in some way.

Please don’t hesitate to ask me if I can help you in any other ways.

BTW? Did you ever send a query to Eyes On Success to see if you could be a guest on their show?

      You’re welcome.

They used to have a form to fill out but they’ve done away with all that and now have an email address.

Send them a note telling them you’re interested in being on their show, and include your media kit.

  2. I contacted them several years ago. Maybe I won’t bother mentioning that. Thanks again.

    • Patty says:

If it were me, I wouldn’t. They did a lot of revamping, and I imagine things got lost in the shuffle. I would simply write, make a request to be on their show, use the media kit we created for all your information. In fact, I’d copy and paste the media kit into the body of my message if I were you. Some email addresses bounce attachments.

Just introduce yourself, request to be a guest on their show and end with “Please see my information below.”

Then copy and paste in the info.

      • Would it hurt to do both? A podcaster who was a guest speaker at our last BOE meeting said he likes receiving media kits in pdf format.

      • Patty says:

No it wouldn’t hurt to do both, just know that if you send them all in the same email and their email bounces the attachment they won’t see any of it.

Just last week I read an article on sending out press releases and such and it advised putting the info into the body of the message and letting the person know that if they wanted the info in a different format to please let the sender know.
