WHAT GOES ROUND COMES ROUND
BY: PATTY L. FLETCHER
I have decided to kick off the tell your tale in campbellsworld series today with the following tale.

And now, today’s tale.
Good morning everyone.
I hope this post finds you doing super great.
Here in the Campbell Kingdom it is still a bit cold but fortunately it is to warm up just a tad later today. Of course, with this gift of warmer air comes a mix of rain, snow, and a sloppy mess in the yard but well, one can’t have everything right?
This morning I find myself feeling a mix of feelings. It has been a strange week to be sure, starting with my having found someone living in my storage building over the weekend, and ending with me having to deal with someone who is argumentative, rude, and unwilling to admit their portion of a problem.
On a happier note sandwiched in between all this a client of mine who is quite pleased with my work has just informed me that they’re expanding their business taking on new things and they’re hopeful to soon expand my contract thus paying me more money and giving me more responsibility.
I must say this came at just the right time, because while dealing with the argumentative rude person my self-confidence was quite wrecked. So, having someone reach out to me to let me know they like my work and wish me to help them with this newest portion of their business boosted me a lot and for that I am truly grateful.
I must say that with all the experiences both good and bad I’ve endured this week have come lessons. First, I will be more careful in the future how I handle people. If for example they do something on my blog or one of my FB groups that displeases me I will keep my displeasure with them as private as possible and no longer allow those things to be made public and if I should have to chide someone publicly for their displeasing behavior I plan to be kind about it because I don’t want anyone feeling how I was made to feel.
Next, if someone points out something that I have done to cause an issue for them I will not refuse to admit my portion of the problem because I feel that is unprofessional and dishonest. There are always two sides to a coin and hardly ever is just one person at fault.
Thirdly, I will not be accusatory. Even if I feel a person is doing something on purpose to cause an issue I am not going to assume unless I have solid proof that they are because just this morning I was accused of doing something I flat-out was not doing and when I tried to defend myself I was shut down and the other person refused in any way to try and make the issue right.
Folks, there is certainly something to be said for Karma. No matter your behavior, good or bad, sooner or later that will come back round to you.
On one hand in the past I have done some of the undesirable things which have been done to me this week. So, I have now had the same done to me.
On another hand, I have done good quality work, and am now reaping the fruits of my labor.
I’m very glad today is Friday. I’m very much looking forward to the weekend and some much-needed down time. Other than a few things that will need monitoring here and there on social media I’ve no huge responsibilities. I’m going to read good books, work on another project in the house, and enjoy the weekend.
Until next time this is Patty who is thankful it’s Friday and King Campbell who says he wants breakfast to be served saying…
Watch that Karma, for what goes round comes round, may harmony find you, and blessid be.
