FEATURED AUTHOR OF THE WEEK: BUTTERFLY THOMAS

Good morning campbellsworld visitors and bookworms one and all!

This morning I’m happy to introduce to you one of our newest totally talented Tell-It-To-The-World Marketing family members.

When you’ve finished enjoying this interview please do give it a like and a share, and if you like, say hello to Butterfly in the comment section.

First, tell us, in your own words, a little about you.

Hmm, I am extremely introverted.  I am an avid and voracious reader.  I love the sample now button on audible, because it allows me to listen to the narrator and the storyline to see if I can get sucked in.  Occasionally, I’ll poke my head out of a book and watch Jeopardy! Or big bang theory, but TV is not something I enjoy much anymore.  In high school I chose the name Butterfly for myself because it’s a natural symbol of transformation.  My graduation speech was titled “Butterfly” and it was a poem detailing my years and thus transformations at the state school for the blind.  Over the years, I continue to evolve and shed old caccoons, allowing new butterflies to emerge.

Imagination and creativity are necessary traits when it comes to writing.  Determination and perseverance are likewise necessary when dealing with completetions, follow throughs and continuing past rejections and disappointments.

What are your weaknesses, and, how are you working on making them stronger?

Procrastination is by far my biggest weakness

How Am I trying to make this better?  Well, I’m not… lol no, time management is key and I try to carve out time for particular things that I need to do and then do my best to stick to these deadlines.

What is your dream for the future?

To be a world renown author

How, does that relate to your work, as a writer?

Eventually, I want everybody to know my work… not my name

Why do you write?

For expression, for fun, for inspiration, for motivation for distressing

What inspires you?

Any and everything just depends on the way the wind blows

      • Miss Opal and I would be happy to present her with an interview on Saturday is for Sharing if she is interested in being featured on SCAN. I am putting together my new schedule for this year and I think we might enjoy a visit with Miss Opal and me on our special feature pages at SCAN-a-Blog. Our first year of doing the interviews was so much fun and so well attended that we will do it again this year. Miss Opal said to mention that she often watches butterflies from her spot at the window in the summer time.

My nephew does skin art and he told me it could be done. He said someone could take a picture of Campbell’s face and put it right up there but I’d have to drink a lot of wine to find the courage for that. LOL!

But if it is not you can still buy it for just $4.99 and you can still read it via Braille through your computer.

Yes and it can be read via text to speech and something else people are not aware of is that they can download the Kindle app for free straight to their computer desktop.

It works just like the Kindle app which can also be downloaded free to any IPhone.

These files can also be read with the Victor Stream and Braille Displays.
