Tell-It-To-The-World Marketing When What Why and How

Hello campbellsworld visitors and authors everywhere.
Here at Tell-It-To-The-World Marketing, where we support talented authors, as well as successful business owners in their marketing, by marrying social media, with more traditional approaches,
the goal is to help the client market their Book, Blog, or Business to the very best of their ability.
One of the best ways for me to do this, is to share tips with my clients, so that they can define the services I provide them, to better meet their needs.
I’ve been doing online marketing for about a year now, so I thought I might share some things with you about my experiences in the hopes that what I share will help to give you an idea of what it is I do, what I consider great ideas for marketing and why.
To me there are many ways to promote one’s self.
But.
I think one of the very best ways is to show those reading on the blogs where you’re appearing just what you can do. I’ve always loved engaging with the authors I read anytime I had the chance so when I began my business I decided I was going to create a way in which authors could make it easier for readers to do just that.
I’d been reading blogs for quite a while by the time I began, had seen quite a few ways in which this was done and thought I’d try my hand at it in a unique way.
There are introduce yourself posts which I do from time to time, usually with a new client. There are those who provide book reviews of their guest blogger’s works etc. etc.
I, however like reading about the author in a more personal way. So, I began to think about creating columns in which my writerly clients could give the reader a look into their world.
Those columns are:
• Author’s corner
• Authors, They’re Only Human and
• Reading with the authors.
In the Author’s Corner pretty much anything goes. Book excerpts; sharing’s about things the author’s done, like trips they’ve taken book signings they’ve had such as the one done by multi-genre author Phyllis Staton Campbell BOOK SIGNINGS, BUT HOW? Seen here on this blog, and anything else they might want to talk about.
In the Authors, They’re Only Human column authors write about struggles they might be having how they’ve triumphed over them, writers’ block, you get the idea.
The Authors, They’re Only Human column first came to me during an email chat between myself and award-winning children’s author Wanda Luthman who since that time has provided some pretty neat stuff here on campbellsworld and her own blog besides. See Website/blog https://wandaluthman.wordpress.com
The reading with the authors was born due to the questions I used to ask as a young reader.
What do authors read when they’re not writing? How do they get their ideas? What inspires them?
