AUTHOR’S CORNER: A Poem and Message from Lynda McKinney Lambert

Good morning campbellsworld visitors and poetry lovers everywhere.
This morning I’ve a most beautiful offering from author Lynda McKinney Lambert to share.
In the following note that Lynda wrote to me and a co-editor author she explains the post from where it comes and what it is about.
Be sure to click the URL after the note and enjoy. If you do please give it a share and let her know you did.
Thanks for dropping into the Author’s Corner today and be sure to come again soon.

I wrote this article yesterday and posted it on my blog, Walking by Inner Vision.
Each Sunday, I write about someone, a person, place or event that is notable.
Everything on this blog is writing-centered, and mostly about my own writing as it is published in a variety of periodicals and books.
Last year, I had over 140 publications of my work.
This year, to date, I am even ahead of last year’s stats in publication of my works and also international recognition.

In this post, I introduce the NatureWriting magazine and author, Ron Harton.
I include a voice recording of me, reading my poem that was published on Saturday in the magazine.
It is always wonderful when an editor connects with our writing and truly understands where it comes from and the subtle nuances of the timing, breath, and space between the lines and the words. Mr. Harton is one professional who “gets it.

Reciprocity is an amazing way of life. You are both examples of people wo GIVE so much to others, and in return, you will receive much because of your generosity. Have a very happy week, ladies!

Pennsylvania artist, teacher, and author Lynda McKinney Lambert invites readers into her world of profound sight loss to discover the subtle nuances and beauty of a physical and spiritual world. She takes strands from ancient mythology, history, and contemporary life and weaves a richly textured new fabric using images that are seen and unseen as she takes us on a year-long journey through the seasons.
All stories in this book were created after her sudden sight loss in 2007 from Ischemic Optic Neuropathy. Lambert invites us to see the world with new eyes.

  1. Reblogged this on SCAN and commented:
In case you missed it, I am sharing this blog article by Patty Fletcher. She has shared one of my special recognition blog posts – I call them Sunday Sunbeams. In this one, I wrote about the literary magazine that focuses on all-things-Nature. I’ve been delighted to have my poems published there, by editor Ron Harton. I think yo will love a visit to his magazine too, if you love Nature. And, doesn’t everybody love Nature! Cheers to Mother Nature!
