Now Campbell and I are back to introduce to you none other than the Magnificent, the Miraculous, the Marvelous, Owner and Founder himself. Many times, when we hire companies to work in and around our homes we never know a thing about the people doing the work. Let alone those that own and run the business itself. I’m pleased to say this is not to be the case where Clay Goad is concerned.

Clay has taken time out of his busy schedule to answer a few questions for me and I might add he has done a most excellent job. So, without further ado I give you Clay Goad of New Hope Aquascapes and Landscaping!

Clay Goad Owner of New Hope Aquascapes

My name is Clay Goad and I’m the owner of New Hope Aquascapes and Landscaping. I grew up in Church Hill and currently reside in Jonesborough TN. I drove a truck for ten years and decided to start my own business from a hobby I’ve always had. I have been married to my stunningly beautiful wife for 4 years, and together we have 3 dogs. All are female miniature schnauzers. With the very little spare time we have, we enjoy going to movies and sometimes we fish.

I’ve always been fascinated by water. I wanted to know how it worked and why. I got into fish tanks, freshwater and marine. I spent countless hours researching and caring for coral and marine fish.  I took this passion for fish and water, and started doing water features. This blossomed into a full service water feature company. From a simple fountain for the dentist office, to a complete water garden oasis, we love it all. We create, install and maintain water features for east Tennessee.

I spend most of my time trying to grow my business and provide exceptional service to my customers. I am motivated by the smiling faces and satisfied clients. The best part of owning my own business is the availability to make decisions and mold the company to its potential. We want to continue to grow our business and provide quality and dependability for all of our valued clients.

We are working diligently to provide a quality service across multiple budgets. This becomes difficult when we take such pride in hiring and training our associates to provide a top notch experience. We have built our business from all sizes of jobs, and we appreciate the opportunity to provide services for the at home gardener. We are a full service landscaping company as well. From a weekly lawn mowing while you’re on vacation, to a backyard paradise, we do it all.

Terrible weather conditions are our biggest weakness. We expand by hiring dependable associates, and adding to the fleet of tools and transportation constantly to keep up with the growing demand for dependable lawn care. All of our crews strive to consistently provide a service the neighbors will be jealous of. We all look forward to expanding this company, providing promotions for associates and infinitely growing.

We communicate best via text. Most every Saturday, I spend the morning going over the following week schedule and communicating with customers. Since most days I am in the field supervising or mowing with a crew, I do miss phone calls. I always call customers back, but text is preferred. For potential clients, we suggest a phone call to go over the details of the project to make sure we are a good fit for the task. Once this initial conversation takes place, we ask for clients to text their name, address, and e-mail. With this info in our inbox, it will not be misplaced. We will show up to the correct location to provide the consultation and can send estimates and invoices online.

Well there you have it from the owner himself. Now, would you like to know how to hire this magnificent company, so you can be the envy of the entire neighborhood?

Sure, you would.
