My clients have sent such great stuff, and I only need to push links today, so I am taking a day to unpack comfort items today.
Going to set up my altar, going to unpack my favorite nick-nacks, and going to start truly connecting with this house.
Last night I suffered my first bout of homesickness for my old house, and cried over it.
Well, as Author of Where Sheep May Safely Graze, and other awesome books Phyllis Campbell says, “It’s the fool that laments over what cannot be helped” So, Onward and Upward.
It occurred to me the reason Campbell has done so well here is because I went to the trouble of setting up his room, putting out all his things, and creating his own world in a new place.
Well, what on earth is wrong with me?
Sure unpacking all the necessary stuff was important, but why did it not come to me I might be happier if I had some of my old favorite things surrounding me.
A friend is going to bring what I need from the store because it is raining mightily out and Campbell wants to sleep.
I shook his harness at him a while ago and all I got for my trouble was a big loud snore. He rolled onto his back stuck his feet into the air and said, “Go on mom I’m off today!” Well if the King can do it so can I.
