Positive Perspective: Slick Successful Sunday Sniff Fest, Afternoon Musings, and More…

Hi CAMPBELLSWORLD VISITORS!!! Back again, with some thoughts on the day, etc…

Campbell and I went out round mid-day and took a walk in the frigid air. Other than a few slick moments coming first across the drive in front of the garage and then as we came back down the drive later on when done, the walk was pretty uneventful. Campbell did his normal sniff snuff, and dig routine, and he found the digging a bit more work than was before because everything was frozen stiff.

Yesterday I explained in great detail to several the condition in which the ground was last night. When Campbell and I walked last evening round sundown, we found walking in the yard, much like walking on a partially frozen sponge, but today, it felt more like walking on a frozen layer of crust, and I guess that’s pretty much what it was, the snow, grass, mud, and leaves, had all nudged together making a kind of crackling crunching crust to walk on, and for the most part it broke apart under our feeet, so other than needing to take our time in a few spots, the walk was nothing more than a bit of effort, which only served to burn off energy.

As I wrote, the walk down the driveway was a bit slick in spots, but even its frozen face was cracking in spots, and with the Pper Syse way Campbell brought me down, and use of my cane, to help keep away from the edge, and break up ice, we did well, and were soon safely back inside.

We both found ourselves tired out from that, and soon, Campbell was snoozing, and I was engrossed in a game of Uno on my Blindfold RSGames app and he afternoon was slipping away.

Sometimes it’s just good to hang out, and enjoy the afternoon. After the busy productive morning I had, a good lunch, and walk, it seemed the right thing to do.

Now, here we are, planning supper, and after having a great texting conversation with my dad, and doing some social media stuff I really do find it has been a wonderfully awesome Good News Sunday with lots of great things being done.

As if all that weren’t enough, I have just learned that the driveway is being salted, and although it’ll take a good day or so for it to melt, there’s hope at the end of the ski-slope…Drive! 🐶⛷☺️
Something’s I’ve learned from this day are…
Persistency determination, and downright Doggedness are the keys to life.

Positivity and patience pay off, and at the end of the day, as long as you get it done, there’s no wrong way, no right way, just a way.

Until next time, this is Patty, and the Positive Pup King Campbell Lee AKA Bubba saying…
May harmony find you, and blessid be.

___

Thank you Goddess for the sun.
Thank you, when the day is done, all our needs, wants, and desires, they will be met.
Thank you for what we have, and have not yet.
Thank you when this day is through, you’ll have allowed me to serve you.

Blessid be for your love pure and true, draw to me that which I ask of you.

So Mote It Be! Blessid Be!

Glad you got out for a walk.. It was 9 degrees here most of the day yesterday. The high was 14. So, Bryanna and I stayed home. We didn’t even walk to church I felt that would be healthier although I had the desire to go. We don’t walk much in the winter. Not only is it healthier, it’s safer. I’m glad you two made it out though and returned home safely. God is good. Penny

Hi Penny, thanks so much for reading, and commenting.! YAY! Campbell and I walk round our yard much as we can. We’ve made a sort of path for ourselves. That is to say we pretty much go the same way through the property each time. We vary ever so slightly according to Campbell’s wish to sniff a particularly interesting spot, but between the slight retaining wall on one side, wooden privacy fence and gravel drive, as well as sidewalk and our own driveway the property is pretty well defined. It makes for a nice walk, in all kinds of weather. Even though it might get stressful from time to time, we make it work. The cold cannot make you sick, only the viruses that live within. Some incubate well in cold, some in warm, and some like the mixed bag of rising and falling temperatures, and I have also learned that not getting a good amount of fresh air and sun no matter the weather each day can cause me more problems than good. So out and about we go even if only for a short time. We’ve just now this very moment come in from our first park of the day, and we did even though only 15 degrees out, and not quite 5-AM walk round the entire yard. I like the cold quiet, and this morning there was no wind, which made it doublet nice. Anyhow, stay safe, and “Be Well”
